This rod was specially commissioned for an angler who enjoys long walks abroad, taking every opportunity to fish small streams, creeks, and the upper reaches of rivers with tiny flies (#26–#32).
Built as a 5’0” three-piece splitcane rod with bamboo ferrules, it comes with an extra tip and features a custom-made palm grip with integrated reel seat, tailored precisely to the angler’s hand. The rod is fitted with single-foot guides and a lightweight REC Recoil stripping guide. The wraps are kept transparent, accented with fine orange tipping in Pearsall’s Gossamer silk, giving it a subtle and elegant appearance.
Weighing just under 62 grams and with a transport length of only 54.5 cm, this rod is perfectly suited for travel and long treks. Light, compact, and highly specialized, it is destined to become a trusted companion on many adventures.
