Alongside building new splitcane fly rods, I also repair and restore carbon and glass rods. Common issues such as damaged wraps, worn or broken guides, and cork repairs are all part of the work I carry out with care and precision.
In some cases, rods arrive with more extensive problems: chipped varnish, corroded or grooved guides, or even a damaged handle and reel seat. When needed, I completely disassemble the rod—removing old components, stripping away the worn varnish, and refinishing the blank. The rod is then rebuilt from the ground up, ready to be fished again with renewed strength and beauty.
